when I was 10, my mother got us a cat, a little orange kitty that we named Maxamillion after the robot from the movie The Black Hole. We actually wanted to name him after the other robot V.I.N.C.E.N.T. but I have a cousin named Vincent, so it didn't happen. Max (as we called him) ended up as an 18 lb fat orange fucker, but he was the sweetest cat in the world. He talked, no shit. Max lived to be 20 years old, dying of old age in 2010.
When I was about 16, I wrote this song about my buddy Max as he sat next to me purring.
