It was cold outside, I was tracking in my garage, my acoustic kept coming out of tune. The main finger-style guitar was an improvisation of chord groups that I only recorded once. Afterwards I placed a bass and lead over it. The end always sounded Irish to me. I'm sure there's a technical explanation for why that is, but I'll be damned if I know what it is.
